Pescadero Creek County Park features approximately 26 miles of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails for visitors of all experience levels under a canopy of a coastal redwood forest. The 8,020 acres offer visitors a chance to escape the city and explore the mixed evergreen and redwood forest, natural mountain watersheds of Pescadero and Alpine Creek which also contain steelhead trout and variable runs of silver salmon, and they wide variety of other flaura and fauna. Pescadero Creek County Park is adjacent to Sam McDonald and Memorial County Parks and the more adventurous visitors can connect with these parks as well as nearby Portala Redwoods State Park and Big Basin Redwoods State Park. Access to the park is available via parking at the Hoffman Creek Trailhead along Wurr Road, Tarwater Trailhead along Camp Pomponio Road, or through Sam McDonald County Park, Memorial County Park, or Portola Redwoods State Park.
