    Alpine Pond is a small pond located high up in the Santa Cruz Mountains in Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve. The 0.5 mile long Alpine Pond Loop Trail offers a self guided multimedia nature tour, where visitors can peer into the shallow water in search of wildlife. Along the loop trail in a spot overlooking the pond is the Nature Center, which features displays for both children and adults to enjoy. Visitors will find picnic tables and benches around the pond.
