Description

Part of the Pescadero Creek Park Complex (Pescadero Creek, Memorial, and Sam McDonald County Parks) between La Honda and Pescadero, Memorial Park has been a favorite camping and hiking destination for generations of outdoor enthusiasts. The 673 acre park is primarily comprised of old-growth forest and the riparian habitat of Pescadero Creek, with a bushy ridge near Mt. Ellen. Family campgrounds and a group campground near the visitor center offer great destinations for a mountain getaway or basecamp for further adventures in the neighboring parks. A number of reservable group picnic areas and non-reservable picnic areas for families are spread throughout the main area of the park.
