Sunset Trail Camp

Located in the heart of Big Basin Redwoods State Park just upstream from a series of waterfalls including Berry Creek Falls, Sunset Trail Camp offers 10 primitive backcountry campsites, each accommodating up to 6 people. Reservations are required to camp, and can be made online up to 60 days in advance. Potable water is not available, so water must be packed in or filtered from a creek (Berry Creek is the closest source, approximately 1/3 of a mile from the campground). Vault toilets and trash cans are available from May 1st to October 31st each year (otherwise it's pack-it-in, pack-it-out for all waste).
