    Description

Rancho San Antonio County Park and Open Space Preserve is a 165 acre county park and adjoining 3,988 acre open space preserve in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains at the wildland-urban interface offering many recreational opportunities to visitors, including hiking, road biking, mountain biking, horseback riding, non-gas powered model airplane flying, picnicking, and more. Visitors will also find two larger meadows suitable for informal playing near the parking lots. Hikers and horseback riders wishing to extend their trips can take Black Mountain Trail to Monte Bello Open Space Preserve. A popular attraction of Rancho San Antonio Park and Preserve is Deer Hollow Farm, a working farm with cows, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, an organic garden, and turn-of-the-century ranch buildings.
