Stevens Creek County Park is a 1,063 acre park with many activities centered around the 86 acre Stevens Creek Reservoir. Hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders can enjoy the 9 miles of single track and multi use trails within the park, or extend the adventure by connecting with neighboring parks Fremont Older and Picchetti Ranch Open Space Preserves. Fishing on Stevens Creek Reservoir is popular activity with anglers able to fish for black bass, large mouth bass, catfish, and crappie. Kayaking, canoeing, and sailing are also popular activities on the lake, but power boats are not allowed. There are also multiple group picnic areas within the park, some reservable and others first come first serve. For lake front picnicking head to the very popular Lakeshore Picnic Area, but check out the others if you prefer the cooler shade of Stevens Creek Canyon.
