    Description

Pomponio State Beach offers almost 2 miles of gently sloping sandy beach backed by high sandstone bluffs. The beach is bordered by San Gregorio State Beach on the north and Pescadero State Beach on the south; and together all three state beaches cover nearly 5 miles of California coast. This day-use facility features a small lagoon, roaring surf, and a wide parking area, picnic tables, and barbecues. As with the other state beaches along this stretch of coast, dogs, camping, and fires are not permitted.
