    Description

Pebble Beach is a small pebbly beach north of Santa Cruz near the small farming town of Pescadero that gets its name from the colorful stones that wash ashore from an offshore gravel bed. Part of Bean Hollow State Beach visitors may find jade, chert, agate, jasper, and moonstone; however, collecting is not permitted. A self-guided nature trail leads back to Bean Hollow State Beach via the ice plant-covered bluffs.
