Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park just south of Pescadero, California features one of the tallest lighthouses in America. At 115 feet tall, Pigeon Point Lighthouse has been guiding mariners along this section of rugged, remote shoreline since 1872. The rocky bluffs adjacent to the lighthouse are a great place to check out tidal pools and even the whales and dolphins swimming by on their migration.
