Description

Wunderlich County Park features more than 900 acres park on the eastern hillside of the Santa Cruz Mountains extending from the foothills in Woodside to the top along Skyline Ridge. Miles of hiking and equestrian trails lead up the hillside and equestrian facilities are set along Woodside Road at the main entrance. The park contains land that was once the Folger family (of Folgers Coffee fame) ranch and the historic, century old Folger Stable is still used today for people boarding horses at the park. Learn about the history of the park and how horses served as important animals in the 19th and early 20th centuries at the Carriage House Museum. Horesback trail rides are available at Wunderlich County Park.
