Alder Trail Camp

Description
Located in the coastal region of Big Basin Redwoods State Park less than 2 miles inland from Waddell Beach, Alder Trail Camp offers 6 primitive hike in or bike in backcountry campsites along Waddell Creek, each accommodating up to 6 people. The campground is just down the Skyline to the Sea Trail from Twin Redwoods Trail Camp and offers ADA accessible facilities. Reservations are required to camp, and can be made online up to 60 days in advance. Potable water is not available, so water must be packed in or filtered from the creek. Vault toilets and trash cans are available from May 1st to October 31st each year (otherwise it's pack-it-in, pack-it-out for all waste).
