Ocean View Summit

Hike or bike to Ocean View Summit.  I have been visiting this jewel of a spot for over 20 years.  Most people hike here from Big Basin Headquarters but I like to ride in from the top from China Grade Road.  I take Johansen to Middle Ridge Road to the lookout.  Over the years it has become a popular hiking destination so I like to go early in the day.  It is the most peaceful and rewarding in the morning hours, of course sunset is great too. Bring plenty of water and snacks.
