What started as a collection of unique aircrafts owned by helicopter pioneer Stanley Hiller Jr., the Hiller Aviation Museum has expanded to showcase numerous aircraft as well as a educational and interactive exhibits. Located at the San Carlos Airport, the museum's mission is to "use aviation to inspire innovation and adventure while using tools of science to explore how the physical world works and how the dream of flight is made into reality". Visitors can step inside a Boeing nose section, learn the history of flight and women in aviation, try their flying skills in an interactive flight simulator, learn about aircraft engines, and much more at the Hiller Aviation Museum.
