Vasona Lake County Park is a 152 acre park in Los Gatos, California with many activities centered around the namesake Vasona Lake. This is Santa Clara County Parks most popular regional park and recreation area for many reasons which are easy to see once you visit the park. Enjoy picnicking along the lake, walking on the miles of paved paths, a game of volleyball or horeshoes with friends, take your kids to play on the large playground, fish for black bass, crappie, catfish, or bluegill, catch a glimpse of the many birds that stop in for the lake, or just enjoy playing on the 45 acres of lawn.
If you need to stretch you legs a little longer, extend your walk or bike ride on the 9.5 mile paved Los Gatos Creek Trail that runs through the park. You can also head right next door to the Town of Los Gatos' Oak Meadow Park and catch a ride on the Billy Jones WIldcat Railroad that winds through Vasona Park. From early spring through early fall, paddle boats, row boats, and standup paddleboards are available for rental.
