    A mile long stretch of beach split in the middle by the Santa Cruz Harbor, Twin Lakes State Beach offers visitors a more relaxed beach going environment than other downtown beaches. Twin Lakes State Beach is popular for swimming, sunbathing, surfing, and picnicking. The section of beach immediately on the south end of the harbor has beach volleyball courts.
