Silver Lake Campground

Silver Lake Campground is a moderate-sized campground nestled between Silver Lake and the dramatic scenery of the Ansel Adams Wilderness in the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. This is a great base camp for fishing, boating, hiking, picnicking, horseback riding and photography. The campground offers creekside and lakeside camping options, with some campsites in open areas and others shaded by aspen and willow trees. Silver Lake Campground provides drinking water, flush toilets, picnic tables, campfire rings and bear-proof lockers for food storage. A small store and cafe are within easy walking distance and a boat ramp and pack station are nearby. The scenic drive along the June Lake Loop results in expansive views of rugged mountain peaks and several lakes.
