    Description

Neary Lagoon was once an offshoot of the San Lorenzo River, but is now a fresh water lagoon in the heart of Santa Cruz that serves as an important part of the urban watershed for the city. Not only is Nearly Lagoon a beautiful place to birdwatch, but visitors can also enjoy a nice stroll along the wooden pontoon walkway that winds through and around the lagoon.
