    Description

A decent hike and or a grueling mountain bike ride along the Bay Area Ridge Trail.  Mission Peak has unparalleled views of the San Francisco and SIlicon Valley and the Santa Cruz Mountains, of course if you go during a clear day.  When I went early one September morning the fog was so thick you could only see 20 feet ahead of you anyway. There are several ways to access Mission Peak.  One is from Sandy Wool parking area in Ed Levin County Park and the other is park on Stanford Avenue at the staging area. Bring plenty of water and your binoculars. Tons of wildlife to be seen. Mountain Biking is only allowed on the Bay Area Ridge Trail.
