    Description

The spectacular beauty of the rugged California coast and the dramatic backdrop of redwood forest and Santa Lucia Mountains set the scene for this 700 acre park ideally situated between Carmel and Cambria. Camping, hiking, and touring the historic lime kilns, which produced lime - a necessary component of cement - and sent it north to help build the San Francisco Bay Area, are a few of the most popular activities at this park. The 100 foot tall Limekiln Falls, beach, and campground are the other three main draws for visitors.
