Hellyer County Park

A 178 acre urban park in San Jose that features the Coyote Creek running through the center of the park. Additional features include Cottonwood Lake for year-round fishing, an Olympic size concrete velodrome, playground, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball court, off-leash dog area, picnic tables, group picnic areas with barbecues, disc golf courses, nature trail, and access to the Coyote Creek paved multi-use trail. There is a parking fee within the park, but entrance is free if you enter by another method (walk or bike in).
