Gros Ventre Campground is the largest campground in Grand Teton National Park, with 295 individual tent and RV campsites and 5 large group sites. The campground is located in the southeast part of the park, closest to the town of Jackson. Enjoy the views of the Teton Range and Blacktail Butte while keeping your eyes out for wildlife - such as moose, bison, and deer - that frequent the campground as they head to the Gros Ventre River, only a short stroll away. Sagebrush and grasses cover the campground as cottonwoods and blue spruce rise above providing shade to most of the campsites. All regular sites in the campground are first-come, first served. There are ADA accessible sites, a dump station for RV's, and some sites have full hookups.
