Glacier View Campground

Glacier View Campground is located next to beautiful Redfish Lake, beneath the Sawtooth Mountain Range, at an elevation of 6,500 feet. The campground offers 64 campsites, including 9 double sites, many with views of the lake and rugged Mount Heyburn. Families with younger children will love the campground's two playgrounds and the North Shore Picnic Area across the road with a beautiful beach and great swimming opportunity. The Redfish Visitor Center nearby offers area information and interpretive programs. Campers will enjoy a short tour on the interpretive Fishhook Nature Trail or a longer walk west into the beautiful Sawtooth Wilderness to battle wild cutthroat in the alpine lakes. A section of the Idaho Centennial Trail passes near the area. Equestrian stables, a dump station, recreation and boat rentals can be found at Redfish Lake Lodge. Waterskiing, sailing, swimming, wading, canoeing, motorboating and fishing are all great ways to enjoy the waters.
