This famous playground is part of Monterey’s El Estero Park Complex, a 45 acre park, and is the best place in the area to let the kids of all ages run on a playground. Gifted to the City of Monterey by Hank Ketchum, the creator of the Dennis the Menace comic strip, there are many slides, bridges, swings, and activities for kids of all ages.
