Coast Road is an approximately 14 mile long dirt road that travels along the Big Sur mountains from the famous Bixby Creek Bridge on the north end to Andrew Molera State Park on the south. This narrow scenic route takes passes wildflower covered hills and historic ranching land, goes through redwood forests, over rivers, and offers unparalleled vistas of the Pacific Ocean and Big Sur coast. Almost everyone who has driven Old Coast Road will agree, all wheel drive or a high clearance vehicle is recommended.
