    Description

Dubbed by many as the "Golden Gate" to Big Sur, Bixby Bridge is one of the most photographed attractions along the Pacific Coast Highway. Completed in 1932, the bridge is a true civil engineering feat of that era and still stands the test of time as an iconic symbol of Big Sur. One great vista of the bridge is at the viewpoint turnout on the north end of the bridge. To get another great perspective, head up Coast Road, the dirt road that heads east into the mountains on the north side of Bixby Brige.
