This small walk-in campground near Point Bonitas in the Marin Headlands is the most accessible campground in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and offers 3 campsites surrounded by a cypress grove on the south-facing bluffs offering beautiful views of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, and scenic coastline. Each campsite at Bicentennial Campground only accommodates up to 3 people and features a picnic table, barbecue grill, and food locker. Campers must stop in at the Marin Headlands Visitor Center, available 24 hours a day, to pick up the camping permit.
