    Description

The Albright Visitor Center is in one of the old stone buildings of Fort Yellowstone, a US Army fort built in Mammoth Hot Springs during the beginning days of Yellowstone National Park. Today, you can gather park information, orient yourself to the rest of the park (including road conditions, and campground and lodge availability), shop for souvenirs, explore exhibits to learn more about the wildlife and history of Yellowstone, join a ranger program, acquire a permit in the backcountry office, or use the restrooms.
